Interceptor film sighting
I haven't seen the appearance of the Interceptor in "Bottle Shock" mentioned before. The flm stars the incomparable Alan Rickman and is the story of the 1976 wine tasing competition where California wines beat the best French vineyards. The Interceptor appears in the background of shots ea...

A plane with 5 passengers on board -- Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel, the Pope and a 10-year-old schoolgirl -- is about to crash and there are only 4 parachutes. Trump says " I need one. I am the smartest man in the US and I need to solve the pandemic!" He takes one parachute a...

Having the Interceptor engine and transmission rebuilt. I brought the car home from the mechanic and the wife said “I see you picked up the car.” I replied “yes” and that was it. A couple of weeks later I got home from work and she said “the Amex statement has arrived” and I said “Oh, yes?”, and tha...

Re: The History of the forming of the JOC
Funnily enough, I have just received my file from Robeys thanks to Kieron and it had this letter in it and some follow up chat about forming a club between my Interceptor's first owner (Mr Bunker), the factory and Folletts. I like the idea of 'Dinner at the Savoy' Where else? Perhaps Claridges. I i...

* Half of us are going to come out of this quarantine as amazing cooks. The other half will come out with a drinking problem. * I used to spin that toilet paper like I was on Wheel of Fortune. Now I turn it like I'm cracking a safe. * I need to practice social-distancing from the refrigerator. * Sti...

Re: 2210/9552
an update. The garage has sold it to a company in New York City that supplies cars for movies. Maybe we will see it in a future "Fast and Furious".

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but a friend just sent me photos of this Interceptor, here in Huntington, Long Island, New York. It was last registered in 2005 and looks rather neglected. I'll visit the garage and find out what I can about it.

I endorse all the congratulations. The Forum is especially important for those of us who live far from the birth-place of our favorite car.

Re: Classic cars on the road
Last weekend was the high level car show here at Americana Manhasset, a show where there are many more Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the car park than make it into the show. You can see that the Jensen was again in good company with a McClaren of some sort on one side and a 1952 DB2 on the other. The...
