Re: Viperceptor at Historics Auction RUF 340M
You're not really claiming that there is no difference, visually, between modern pillars and those from the 60s?

Re: Viperceptor at Historics Auction RUF 340M
Many moons ago when there was a fad for designing new cars based on an old design (think here of the Rover 75, Jaguar S Type, new VW Beetle and possibly some others too), Keith Anderson produced an image of what someone might do in a similar vein for the Interceptor. The examples you mention are ne...

Re: Jensen Club of Switzerland: International 2024
Thank you for your mails- I'll try to get back to you personally ASAP. We (Mike Koch) are still awaiting responses and confirmations, so the finalization of our Meet is a bit delayed.

Re: Model Overview with Specs (help!)
Thank you for your help and responses- I did not have my books at hand when I began the list. I had some time yesterday to continue, here's the updated/unfinished work in progress. The points that you mentioned in yellow- I don't have the Genome (yet!)...

Model Overview with Specs (help!)
We're trying to put together a overview of the models, and I'm having difficulty finding some of the specs. The figures are in various colours depending on from where I got the info. Orange and blue are probably the most reliable sources. The figures in red are from a Swiss publication which gave an...

Re: Name that car
Haflingers are a common sight here, not long ago I came across an outing of a couple of them. Too easy? (Our daughter had to wrap something for an school art project, I tried to get her to choose another object- not involving me- but she insisted. Thankfully she/we didn't have to wrap the whole car....

Re: Fitting bucket seats
On the track use 4 or 5 point belts but will have to make slits/holes for the webbing to pass through. It's a very relaxed non-competitive event, you drive with (not against) a dozen or so other classic cars in your class. I really don't want to crash in the C-V8, with or without seatbelts  ...

Re: Fitting bucket seats
Jens, do you know FK Seats in Freiburg? They are worryingly cheap, about half the price- but available in red. Not that the colour really matters if the seat is just mounted for the event. The FK seat is also not certified for street use, but I don't know what that means. https://www.fk-shop.de/Spor...

Fitting bucket seats
I'm planning on maybe going on the track this year and would like to fit a bucket seat (probably just for the event) because I was really struggling with the lack of support last time. Cobra have a reasonably priced seat- apart from the shipping which is as much as the seat itself. Does anyone have ...
