Re: Posting parts from The Netherlands - need a collect, pack and send service
Hi everyone, Dion, thanks for the offer of picking up the seat for me - i have contacted the seller and if i win his auction, he has kindly offered to drop off the seat for me to Mail Boxes etc. at Venlo for packing and freight, so at least now I can make a bid for the seat and arrange delivery to A...

Re: Posting parts from The Netherlands - need a collect, pack and send service
Hi everyone, Is there a collect, pack and send company in Nettetal (Germany), or nearby in Venlo in the Netherlands? I *think* that I have found such a company called Mail Boxes Etc. in Venlo - can does anyone have any experience with them (or can offer any other alternatives)? Look forward to your ...

Re: Posting parts from The Netherlands - need a collect, pack and send service
Hi Arne,
No, I haven't bought it yet, but as you can see I'm really wanting to pull the trigger (I so wish that Airtasker was operating in the Netherlands and/or Germany right now...).
Cheers, Dino

Re: Posting parts from The Netherlands - need a collect, pack and send service
Hi Arne, Oops - I made a mistake - the seller was selling it on ebay Germany, but he lives in the Netherlands - 41334 Nettetal (near Venlo Netherlands). Do any of our members from the Netherlands know of any collect, pack and shipping services (or would they like to earn some $$'s from me)? Cheers, ...

Posting parts from The Netherlands - need a collect, pack and send service
Hi everyone, I have a favour to ask – I have tracked down a Recaro seat on eBay that I’d like to be shipped to Australia (either direct, or via the UK), but the seller in Germany only wants to sell it to someonewho will pick it up from his home adddress (he doesn’t want to pack it up or send it off ...

Re: Jensen prices at this time
Kenny, Agree with you, and as owners, we need to educate the public as to the difference between the values of fair, very good and concourse cars. Last year, I was chatting to the guy who sprayed my car (geez, almost 30 years ago now, sheesh), and he was busy doing full, bare metal resprays for some...

Re: RWR 978M Int 3 at Mathewsons auction
Kenny, Mate, everything's for sale if the price is right! Around 15 years ago, I had someone come up to me and ask if I'd sell my car. Back then, a top notch Interceptor Mk III would have gone for around $40 to $45k, so I said $50k. I saw the same guy around 4 to 5 years ago and he said that he'd re...

Re: gear box
Have a look at the Jensen Parts Manual, Part B "Transmission", where it will show all of the parts for H Series, J Series and Series 4 Interceptors, and the Six Pack. This will be your guide as to what parts are unique (and stronger) for the SP Transmission. For example: Part 55 is the Fro...

Re: gear box
Hi, The best place to discover the differences between the SP and normal MkIII transmission is to look at the Jensen Interceptor Mk III Parts Manual (transmission section) - they show the different parts between the SP and the Mk III's. In the early 1990's, I know that the Jensen Car Company had som...

Re: gear box
Superficially, the 727 transmissions between the Mk II's and the SP's are similar on the outside, and you can simply change them over, but if it's a true SP, then the transmission is (or should) be beefier inside than a standard 727 Mk III transmission. The SP and the Hemi equipped Chrysler cars hav...

Had success installing a new head unit (well, not really a new head unit - but a 1990's Nakamichi TD700C). Radio, Cassette Deck plus an Aux input, so I hid a Bluetooth receiver under the console.
The simple black and white layout of the Nakamichi really suits the rest of the console.

Re: FFF100 Spotted
I would make room for that in my garage any day of the week (the obvious question would be how to register it - probably wouldn’t be possible unless you somehow got special exemptions).

Re: underseal
One of the things that you need to remember is that most of the original, bitumen type products back in the 60s, 70s and 80s (and even early 90s) would have had traces of asbestos in them, so avoid anything which contains asbestos (don’t buy anything NOS). I’d recommend Glasurit products, and they h...

More COVID-19 Repairs. When fixing and re-inserting the window motors, I thought I may as well improve the alignment of the window frame to improve the speed of the window's ascent / decent, then I decided to replace the near 50 year old nuts and bolts for the window frame to stainless, then I thou...
