Some recommend carb #1405, others 1407 or 1411. Electric or manual choke? I don't need high performance output, I love to cruise. Driv...

Hi,

the CV-8 looks amazing!
Joe, could you please post more pics of the car? Like to see some details of this 'outstanding restoration'

Re: Florida mk2

Yes,
think you are right. I didn't mentioned it before. Especially the area where the drivers shoulders are looks very strange.

74 Interceptor project

Hi,
found a new project in Florida:
http://speedpictures.net/ForSale/1974_J ... maroon.htm

for me its difficult to see how difficult the rust repair underneath would be. If there are only the areas to be welded which are on the photos it could be an interesting car for me.

Re: Early Mk III in Oregon

The car is now offered on mobile.de for 35.000 Euro (transport and customs in europe included). In February it was sold on ebay.com for 16.000 Euro (converted Dollars). Thats the way it goes ;-)

Re: HEA 1D

This car has been offered for month by the dealer in Hamburg which was postet by RAP72. But the price sank quite early to 39.900 Euro (I think in November 12). A few weeks ago the offer disappeared from mobile.de

Re: Early Mk III in Oregon

Thank you Chris, indeed I've not that special knowledge of these duty and VAT themes.
In case of an import I'll contact a shipping company who will manage all.

Re: Early Mk III in Oregon

Thats right what Chris says. Importing a car via Rotterdam is without custom duties and only 6 % VAT. I always calculate Dollar to Euro 1:1 so a car I buy in the States for 24 k $ has total costs of 24 k € when it is finally in Germany. This simple calculation only works when you import via Rotterda...

Because I'm looking for a LHD car there are not so many cars on the market that are interesting me (and my budget). This ...
