Re: Poll Should there be a European International?

Colin, I feel I must say something on the matter of organising events. The vast and I mean vast majority of events around the country are organised by either non-committee members or local area reps. Without the input from these people, and I count myself as one of them, the number of events availab...

Re: THE best office in the word!!

Tim,
Not sure if I have told this tale before but my Uncle Gordon on my mother's side was an armourer in the B of B and one of his Hurricanes he attended to was a certain D Bader's.
Strange world isn't it when my other side of the family was at Pegasus.

Andy does it again....

Rang Andy at Appleyards yesterday mid- afternoon.
Needed two new wiper blades and dip switch for main beam.
As usual, Andy said he'd get them in the post that day.
Fully expecting to get the goods in a couple of days, the package was here when I came home this afternoon.
Brilliant!

Re: Didcot Railway Centre transport Rally 7 June 2015

Re: Didcot Railway Centre transport Rally 7 June 2015

First event that they have run. Seems a number of vintage buses and coaches will be there. Attending gives entrance to main railway site. Excellent working museum. Great tribute to the former Great Western Railway. Lots of stuff and things. Let me know ASAP as I am just going to declare a single run...

Re: ACE CAFE Tuesday 14th April - anyone going?

Ah, thought it was just my car that would make its mind up and try to cause me physical damage or deep psychological harm by having mechanical tantrums for no apparent reason. Seriously though, very very very annoying. Hope it gets over its stomach bug and I'll see you at Abingdon. Seems to be a rec...

Yes. There was something nagging me that my reply "agree" was lacking something.
You are totally accurate.
