The Saarburg trip was brilliant. Am interested in this, but cannot be sure at the moment. Google says the hotel is 470 miles from Ijmuiden , and , last weekend I did 416 in the day to Gaydon and back,,,so the travelling is quite possible in a day,,,although I would most likely break up both journeys...

Yes, a superb turnout and display.416 miles roundtrip and 18 mpg so a good drive too today.

I agree with what many have said,,,a really enjoyable day at an interesting venue,,with a good 300 mile drive too! We toured Scotland in a similar way in 2013 ( see magazine 231) and had a great time,,,would well recommend such a trip !
