Re: More Jensen models to come.....
I knew Silas Models were interested in modelling the P66, but have not had this confirmed yet, or a timescale. Will be great if it's on the card's soon though?! Just about to set off on this miserable wet morning in the P66 for the Bedfordshire Classic Car Show at Woburn.....!! Don't you just love o...

Contact Adhesive
I recently fitted a new "EPDM" rubber roof to my shed/workshop. The edges are glued using the following "Firestone" contact adhesive... http://www.rubberroofs.co.uk/shop/sku/4/firestone-contact-adhesive-25-litre" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This is, wi...

First Three Counties gathering of 2015
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone again at our first Three Counties Area gathering of 2015 at The White Horse in Southill today. Also pleased to report that the P66 performed faultlessly there and back and got many admiring glances along the A1! Here's a few pictures of the five Jensen's that turne...

Re: P66 Progress Update
A different perspective of the P66... filmed from my quadcopter today.... apologies for "drifting" a bit here and there.... it's difficult to fly a neat circle around the car!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgPHhx42wXA&feature=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);retur...

Re: P66 Progress Update
No plans for another project just yet. The work on the P66 took me much longer (and cost much more!) than I had expected, so time to have a break from laying on a cold concrete floor. My back is complaining these days!!

Re: P66 Progress Update
At last, the P66 is back on the road after passing it's MOT yesterday!! The brake binding problem is now sorted and certainly seemed to be that flexible pipe collapsing inside. Also, had to replace the coil due to the engine constantly dying..... so that problem also seems to be sorted. Then the spe...

What ignition coil??
Today, I managed to get the P66 through it's MOT, but had a lot of problems with the engine dying and pretty certain it's the coil. So.... easy to replace.... but now puzzled as to what one I should get? I have fitted the standard Mopar Electronic Ignition, which comes with a new Ballast Resister. T...

Re: P66 Progress Update
Ok.... went for the MOT yesterday.... but abandoned it on arrival at the garage when the right indicator stopped working and the brakes were binding on again.... badly!! The kind guys at Robinson's, Kimbolton, let me put it over the pit (which was quite a struggle with the brakes locked on!) to try ...

Re: Name That Car
The Jensen Esporando certainly does still exist. I went to see it several years ago and have contact details for the owner, though I don't wish to pass these on. If the owner decides to sell, I'll be posting details on the forum for anyone interested.

Re: P66 Progress Update
After 18 months and a great deal of work, the P66 Prototype is moving under it's own power again and has seen the light of day at last!! Just a few small jobs still to be done, then it will be ready to go for it's MOT.... with crossed fingers!! It doesn't actually look that much different from when ...

Re: Early Interceptor Model
Once the production run comes out, they should be available from Silas Models ( http://www.silasmodels.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )...... and I assume JOC Regalia will be distributing them as well?
