Re: The Viperceptor and James Bond

I would of thought with the secrecy that normally surrounds this type of thing that even by hinting at it has rendered it unusable. If it's going for modern day, then I hardly think Bond is going to drive a 40 year old car that has been very heavily modded. This means that the baddie will invariably...

Re: Forewarned is forearmed....

Well said DaveAK. This is precisely the point why Keith is no longer the moderator on this forum with heavy handed tactics that would leave the point raised as speculation. As I understand the situation at the moment, the Alvarez's have left Cropredy Bridge Garage. The owner is still in charge and a...

CCW

Very unhappy with the James Bond article in Classic Car Weekly. Not only is it not on the front page as promised but it also has glaring inaccuracies in it. No mention of the 541 or the CV8, I've been misquoted and the article I sent in hasn't been used. It's also very poorly written. Just because I...

Re: Jensen, James Bond and the Dorchester

I believe that the only person that was scared was the girl who got into Darren Barnes 541 and realised that she didn't have any seatbelts at all :D

Re: Jensen, James Bond and the Dorchester

see the chap get into the back trying to put the front passenger seat belt over him as a lap belt..... I'm sorry to say he was actually untangling it to pass back over the shoulder of the flight attendant who was sitting in the front! The guy in the back was a reporter from the Sunday Times, ...

Re: Jensen, James Bond and the Dorchester

Now that the dust has settled, I'd just like to say a huge THANK YOU to all those people that have worked on this project for the Jensen Owners' Club. Nic Cooper and I were contacted around four months ago to provide an Gunmetal Grey FF Mk I, with the possibility of having to provide a Brown Interce...

Re: Jensen, James Bond and the Dorchester

Thanks for that ScottV8, but I think if you watch closely, you see the chap in the back was actually straightening the seat belt so that he could pass it to the lady who was getting in the front. What a gentlemanly thing to do.

Re: International Weekend

Now the dust has settled at home (teenage boys/party/gatecrashed/house reported to be semi ruined on Friday night!) I thought it was only right to thank Tony and Joan Davies who organised the International. I know a good International comes when you have a strong JOC area, and the Cheshire Area help...

Re: New Jensen unveiled at International?

LM-10 It's a bit lairy with a six speed manual gearbox. You can start off in 3rd, drop the clutch and the front becomes quite light. It's very tractable through the corners but the steering at times seems a little vague. It does have some styling cues from the 1960s/70s Interceptor. See you all at ...

Interceptor Mk I Profile in CCW

I've just read a great article from Dave Richards on Kieron's Interceptor Mk I. It might seem a little rose tinted, but the piece tells everyone just how good these cars are.
