Re: Interceptor 111 (WYR) @ Cropredy

Hi everyone,

Looks a nice car. Not sure why it would have needed an unleaded conversion though with a '74/'75 engine.

Re: Free Interceptor tips and Techniques Manual.......

Hi Phil,

If you could send me 14.2 and 14.11 door check strap/mechanism and 8.1 cooling fans that would be great.

Thanks again,

Jon

Hi Phil,

Are these electronic copies available to purchase for those of us who don't live near enough to go to the show.

Cheers,

Re: Red interceptor spotted on M6

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the reply. I though it was probably a fairly local car. If you ever get down Knutsford way with the car, give me a shout and we'll meet up.

Good luck,

Jon

Red interceptor spotted on M6

Hi everybody,
Spotted a Southbound dark red interceptor on the M6 around Charnock Richard today just before 5.00pm. Only caught a glimpse as I was Northbound so don't know if it was Mk1, 2 or 3. Looked nice in the sunshine though. Just wondered if it was anybody in the club ?

Cheers,

Jon

Re: MOT and tax due soon

Hi Duncan,

Yes, I knew about the MOT being abolished in May but I hope to be back on the road by mid April at the latest so I'll have to go through the process of re MOT and tax. I just need to know that I don't fall foul of the law in that process.

Thanks again,

Jon

MOT and tax due soon

Hi everyone, My car is due for MOT next week and tax (historic status) at the end of the month. It seems that the highways agency around here are hell bent on using up every grain of salt in their stockpiles before the end of the winter so I have decided to leave the car in the garage until better w...

Re: Humidity in garage

Hi Howie, If you haven't already purchased and you don't want to spend around £400 for a commercial model, a dessicant dehumidifier is the one to go for. They use a bit more elec but are much more efficient than a compressor model at removing moisture from an unheated space such as a garage. I use a...

Re: New member saying hello

Hi Ken, Welcome to the forum. This and the owners club itself are invaluable sources of information and support both now and when you become an owner. As has been said previously, the best single piece of advice would probably to buy the best car you can afford. Personally, I would recommend speakin...

Re: battery charger /conditioner

Hi Tony,
I have a CTEK MXS 5.0 and I find it does everything I want it to as well as having good safety features for unattended use. You can get them from various suppliers including e bay.

Cheers,

Jon
