Re: Chris Harber meeting

Mad isn’t it. I was there last Saturday chatting for hours, I joked, at one point, that he must have scrapped over a thousand interceptors, he said ‘no but well over six hundred’! When I popped back yesterday there was hardly anything left, a few CV8 bits and single Interceptor even most of the engi...

Re: Electric CV8?

Hi Timmo, I’m back! When I ran my C-V8 on LPG (a by-product from the creation of petrol and diesel) I drove it anywhere and everywhere, now that is has been converted back to petrol I hardly drive it at all, sunny weekends and special occasions only, l can’t imagine it becoming my daily driver again...

Sorry Timmo, we are all too terrified to answer! (I am, so someone else will have to first.)

Re: Late MK1 front seats.

It looks like I’ve missed out on these, does anyone else have a pair for sale? A pair in red would be perfect but I’m interested in whatever is available.

Thanks
Jon

Re: National Drive It Day 24th April 2022

I never miss out on using the Jensen on drive-it day, whatever the weather. Usually a long trip out to the coast or the country (depends which way the wind is blowing), spot of lunch with the misses, long amble back via ‘whatever’ on the way. Most of the day is spent driving, but after such a long p...

Re: Need help to source an unusual bearing

The bearing company ltd ‘guarantee’ to find you a solution. But I would wait to see what Red Triangle come up with first. The spiral grooves presumably are there to flush oil in and out of the pocket, this could be achieved by putting the spiral on the shaft (if at all necessary), you might then hav...

Re: Need help to source an unusual bearing

Is there more of this bearing, does it run in, and on a sleeve?

Re: Carnage in Bath city centre

Maybe, but the ‘Woke’ might have found the Porsche Panamera V8 directly opposite me equally tempting, what do ‘Wokes’ know about these things?
Perhaps the Porsche was the wrong colour, gunmetal grey!

Re: Carnage in Bath city centre

Having spent this afternoon washing the rest of it off I would take a guess that it is probably fake blood left over from Halloween. You would be surprised at how many folk associate the car with James Bond! In some ways I wished had left it on there for a couple of days just to see people’s reactio...

Re: Carnage in Bath city centre

I had a good look around for dead bodies but I couldn’t find any, it’s amazing that this occurred around lunchtime on Thursday during a long awaited mid-week break. No note, no witnesses, you know as much as I do. I give the perpetrators full marks for artistic prowess and bravado! The kids of Bath ...

I see that you have wired them in series, have you tried them in parallel (check the polarity before connecting). :D

A right pair of bright-sparks!
I wonder if that image will be reproduced in the not-so-distant future as a real filling up event…..
