Hi everyone,

Only just getting around to posting a few photos of my J series that I bought last October. Looking forward to the better weather so I can get a few miles on the clock.

Re: Restored Mk3 Interceptor Car and Classic

Hi everyone,
Without doubt a fantastic car. Seems very reasonably priced as well compared with some that have been advertised recently. Not that I could ever afford it mind you.

Re: Vinyl roof restoration

Hi there,

Thanks for your posts. Tim, how does the boot polish stand up to subsequent washing. Does it not tent to run/smear.

Thanks

Re: First Interceptor

Hi Chris,

Thank you that explains it. I guess that my car must be one of the first ones to adopt the new numbering system with 2240.

Thanks again,

Jon

First Interceptor

Hi All, Just bought my first Interceptor. The car I've always wanted since I was about 16. It's a1973 Mk3 J series. Not concourse but "good in all the right places". Can anyone explain the chassis no. for me. I would have expected it to start 136 or 137 and then 9277 but it has a plate in ...

dimensions of the interceptor

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me the length and width (without door mirrors) of a Mk 3 interceptor. I got a diagram off the web but i`m not convinced it is correct.

Many thanks

Re: New member looking to buy an interceptor

Hi all, Thanks for the messages. I've already contacted Andy Brooks a few weeks ago. He has kept my details but nothing as yet. Do mean to catch up with him again next week though. Regarding the car, I'm not looking for a concourse car but I need something fairly "complete" and "good&...

Re: New member looking to buy an interceptor

Welcome to the Clan Jon. Keep an eye on the for sale section and let the members know your whereabouts, that way you will be invited to local meetings, meet current owners and find out about the pitfalls before you buy. Also join the JOC proper. For a modest sum you support the club and get a magaz...
