Re: Cropredy new build Interceptor

I think this price reflects how much a new Jensen Interceptor would cost in today market if it was still manufactured today, on par with the likes of McLaren, Lamborghini etc. Nice to think I am driving a car that cost £250k new and not a cheap DB9!

Re: 1973 Int MKIII in Louisiana 133/5786

That seems remarkably cheap for what looks like a very good car with excellent upgrades, even with shipping and import costs this would be a great buy, so what's the catch? I'm tempted!

Re: Another Blue Int Mk III £185,000

They say that the elevated bonnet improves air flow and yet for 165K they don't even fit a louvred bonnet!

" The terminator!" At classic car show

img_1504359860420_1.jpg I went to a classic car show earlier today at Hemingford Abbotts, a local classic car firm (Quest brothers classic cars) had on their display "terminator" type models mainly, it appears, made from welded together car components. They really were most impressive, an...

Re: EA / Factory cars.

Guys you forgot my car which I had previously given a short history about in the members cars section, originally TEA 700L now registered as DBY 921M. I think there is a full list of all the factory registered interceptors in Richard Calvers book.

Re: Any idea what this knob is for?

I haven't looked at the back of it to see if there are any wires attached, not sure how I would do that or if it would be a good idea. So it would seem that it isn't a standard knob and must be an aftermarket addition. There is another switch (the fog light switch has been used as there are no fog l...

Any idea what this knob is for?

Hi, Attached is a photograph of the underside of the drivers side dashboard, next to the trip milage reset knob is another similar sized black plastic covered knob. I can find no reference to what this should do in either the owners handbook manual or in Richard Calvers book. Is this present on any ...

Re: Jensen on the TV

Hi, I was just watching an episode of Inspector Linley which I recorded recently and came across a Jensen interceptor in the program, not driven by Inspector Linley but by another member of the cast who on entering the interceptor and turning on the ignition is blown up along with the car in the mos...

Thank you for that information Chris I will look into the matter on the DVLA website and see if I can get the car registered under the original registration.

TEA 700L aka DBY 921M

Hi, I just found out some very interesting information about my Jensen interceptor chassis number 136/8750 registration number DBY 921M. Earlier this week I contacted Martin Robey for the detailed build information on my car based on the chassis number. I spoke to Keith who was very helpful and phot...

Hi Bernard
Are the Johnson owners club planning on attending? If so are you sending out passes?
Thanks
Howie
