Re: So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

Actually that’s a good point. It needs a couple of bits and bobs done, but the only big thing is the (usual) tailgate frame base. Current plan is to just do the interior for now, and then the body later (probably over the winter).

Re: So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

This will probably come as a surprise - to no-one. Have decided that the whole interior will now be done: carpets, dash, door cards, b and c pillars, Centre console - the whole nine yards (in addition to what we had already decided/agreed on) It became increasingly obvious that every new piece agree...

Re: So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

Popped in to Rejen today and extremely pleased with work/progress - have now pretty much decided on entirely new interior. Though I could get away with the carpets and door cards, but the new stuff looks so good I’m not going to spoil the ship :0) pic shows new rear seat, retrimmed centre console an...

So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

... for the interior and some bits of the body that need more urgent attention (round two to come later). Whilst having the dash replaced, LED lights were suggested and agreed, as well as an amp and phone connectivity to add to the 8 track thats going in. Having found the correct (original colour) p...

Re: MK1 ACA

Somebody who was there posted on Twitter that the car wouldn't run (or even turn over) and there was some argy-bargy and a suggestion that someone had fiddled with it (to reduce the price?)

Re: Coincidence?

Duncan - I thought it must be - unfortunately I’ve never met Mark, so wouldn’t know him if I bumped into him!! Would have been nice to let him know how SWR 20R is getting on! Chris - that would have been quite an experience!! Didn’t the first E-Type shown (at an Italian(?) show) have a very similar ...

Coincidence?

I had my Corvette on the grid on Sunday at Goodwood's Breakfast Club's Supercar Sunday - there was this stunning Invicta car which was incredible - looked like something the bad guy in a Batman movie would drive - just wondered if the owner was 'our/my' Mark Capehorn? https://www.goodwood.com/grr/ev...

Estimates seem 'interesting'? That one on Wednesday in H & H with the Rover engine made about half (£9,000 IIRC?) guide price.

Oh - and not forgetting of course that smoky old diesel cabs are exempt, whereas Uber (which seem to be all Prius') are not. And no blanket exemption for motorbikes :0)

Re: Ultra Low Emission Zone - London

Chris I couldn't agree more - but the 'Congestion' charge has nothing to do with congestion, it certainly hasn't improved since it was introduced. And as a motorcyclist, in London, I have sat behind buses and taxis that belch out crap 24/7 - a ride in London is the only time I actually wear a coveri...
