FF in Norwegian Winter Challenge

All, today we (an old school friend and I) ran the FF in the Norwegian Winter challenge. A full day of twisting, turning, up hill down dale, snow, polished ice and more. A really brilliant set of navigational parts, a couple of closed forrest stages! and a small slalom course. Many nice people to me...

A day out

Today is a nice FF day. Snow falling, and not a lot of cars about. I took the FF to some of my favourite local roads for a drive. They hadn't yet cleared one small road running between a couple of farms, even some two foot drifts to be found. Just plowing through it all is bliss. I had to stop for a...

A chocolate covering would emulate Peat very well. All in all a tasteful combination :D
That would have my vote.

I've been crawling over the things for years. I found out that going real slow would be OK, and as far as grounding goes it driving at least 15 miles above the speed limit would work well. The dampers would object over time though. The idiot things are usually made to give max discomfort at the spee...

Re: An eye test & a spelling test

This is really cool. The second one is amazing so please read all the way though. >>>>snip<<<< The brain cannot process 'OF'. Incredible or what? Go back and look again!! Anyone who counts all 6 'F's' on the first go is a genius. Or more likely a savante. They have a small (or in some cases major) ...

It's essential to fit a quick battery disconnect terminal too in my opinion. Julian. Like in Submarines, where the dangerous red buttons are secured with caps, I guess. The fuel filler cap button is my favourite, because every passenger pushes this one with 100% probability... Hmmm.... That calls f...

I do have an original chrume thing, belonging in the clips at the front/bottom of the driver's seat. But I don't keep itr there. If I should crash I don't want it to smash my heels from behind. And I do keep a new one handy too, 053 was saved from burning out that way. Just brake fluid saturated bur...

My current listening is 8 hrs on an USB stick, covering the 60'ies, 70'ies and a wee bit o' the 80'ies. My son, all of 15, and a guitar player in a band, plays more and more of "my" music. He often comes up with "this great new song" whereupon I usually point out that the origina...

Another possibility is to hide a new kit under a front seat, having iPod + USB extension wires to somewhere you want to rest either. Then operate the unit by remote control, a neat little one will dofine. SONY has one with USB connection at least. Some new speakers similarly discretely placed is a g...

When you get the answer the averages are given at the top.

BTW, I missed one too. Well, even idiots can get it wrong (right) sometimes :)

Did the FF-type make it into production at all before GKN took over and used their muscle to bring into current ranges? BTW, was the AMC Eagle the first one of the new generation, using viscous coupling centre diff brake/lock?
