East Yorkshire CLASSIC meet
Normally get some Jensens turn up at this event. The next one is on Thursday 7th August from 6.30pm at The Black Swan, Main St, Brandesburton, north of Beverley. It runs to about 9pm. No pre-booking, just turn up. I went last month and there were 2 white Jensens - an Early Interceptor and a 541, and...

Re: Cropredy Bridge Open day 2014
Why do they always hold it on the same day as the Beaulieu Annual International Autojumble?

Re: 1973 Mk3 For Sale Bridlington
Very intriguing.
The man is a dealer, so he is supposed to know what it is he is selling. A 6 litre manual post 1973 series III
Interceptor, from a barn.... A non-existent variant surely?

JNSN Lorry re-advertised again
I see the dealer who can't sell the JNSN lorry is readvertising it. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C291450" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; As previously, the dealer regards the price as a state secret! I -and others- have even asked him what the asking price is, but got ...

Look at the rust below the side vent!
I see he's keeping the price a state secret. Why some dealers do that baffles me.

Re: LWB BMW Interceptor
I bet the price does not include registering it in the UK, a feat which I suspect is going to be difficult, given its mongrel status!

Re: 1947 Jensen for sale....
Just like Interjen, I e-mailed the seller to arrange a viewing and asked what the price was and never got a reply.
The dealer seems a total waste of time.
Also, if you want to sell something, why make the price a state secret? The major part of whether a purchase is worth persuing is the price!

Re: Bag of Nails
Well thank you for all of the advice.
I have now changed the plugs but it is still the same. All of the plugs looked a bit oily. I suppose the next thing is to change the leads unless anyone can think of anything else.

Bag of Nails
440 V8 running like a beg of nails, missing, cutting out, runs lumpy for a while and stops and seems to have loss of power. It has had the timing checked and it is fine, it has had a new coil, a new ballast resistor and it is not a fuel problem. Both the coil and the ballast resistor have been moved...

Re: Left hand drive offering from Andrew Cassar.
Does anyone here know Andrew Casser? Is he a Jensen specialist? And is he a trusted dealer?
I ask because I phoned him to ask about his LHD car and he seemed rather aggressive and he has really put me off dealing with him.

Oh dear. One of the best shows of the year, normally.
Is anyone organising a Yorkshire Run on this date instead, as weather for Sunday looks good?

Better than an Interceptor?
Would the answer be an FF? -Interceptor-ish looks but with 4WD. Last year I spoke to Greg Knight, the classic car campaigning MP, and he said he sold his first Interceptor many years ago for an Aston DBS but he thought it was an inferior car, so in 1983 he sold the DBS and bought another Jensen whic...
