My first visit to a Jensen event...fantastic cars and lovely people. Cant wait to get mine on the road...just debating colours...it seems that its going to be Mango, Positano Yellow or perhaps California sage ( iaheve to view one soon) or whatever.....Cannonball, Red card Steve, Sheila and everyone ...

Did you get the car painted in Mango in the end? It looks alovely colour and i would love to see photos of it. I am thinking of Mnago or Positano yellow for my Mark111..anyone have any thoughts?

Originally yellow with black vinyl roof, the white bits you see are the original top coat of the replacement panels.

Hi This car is now approx 30 years off the road, I have just purchased it and aim to get it finished in time for next summer...se you at Derby on Sunday (my first attendance).

Yes I agree, what you dont want Shaun is for the wheels to come off after you become chairman..better you get it out of the way before...

Mechanical separate oil pressure test confirms low oil pressure. How low is "low"? I have ben told that is less than 5 on idle and doesnt increase very much on revs I am not sure if one can even drop the sump with the engine in situ..havent crawled under it yet...so lots to check. You can...

Hi Keith Thanks for that. Yep will be careful re engine. Mechanical separate oil pressure test confirms low oil pressure. Oil and filter changed.I will get one of the acknowledged Jensen experts to look at it before commit to any major work...I am not sure if one can even drop the sump with the engi...

Thanks to all on really useful information...I will keep you all posted. I expect it will start to go under surgery in six months with full mechancial check/ refurb..and then reprime block and paint..will post pictures in a coyple of weeks
