He is a classic car enthusiasts and absolutely loves my Jensen, he often ask...

Re: Humidity in garage

Thanks for the advice Jon, The curtain idea sounds good. I haven’t completed the purchase yet so I’ll look out for that model or similar.
Cheers

Re: Humidity in garage

Thanks everybody for your replies. I think I’m going to get a dehumidifier, As this seems to offer the best option in terms of cost benefit. I think the problem with the carcoon is that it’s going to take up too much space and I don’t think I will be able to have a sufficient gap round the outside. ...

Humidity in garage

Hi, Yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to start the Jensen. When I opened the garage I noticed how much condensation immediately formed on the car and thought it might be a good idea to check the humidity in the garage. I left a digital hygrometer in the garage overnight and when I checked ...

Re: Roger Moore, comments about Volvo P1800

Here’s mine, fresh out of the paint shop after full respray, with new lower door skins and rear quarter panels both sides. Not an original Volvo colour but I hope you will agree that it suits the car.

Re: Idle problem

Thanks for the replies. The car runs fine as soon as I get going, it’s only happening when stationary. Once the car has warmed up the idle fluctuation just gets bigger until it hits zero and engine stalls. Carburettor is only a couple of years old and not done many miles. On the rolling road they di...

Idle problem

Hi , My Interceptor 111, with 440 engine, has recently developed an issue with its idle when in drive or park with my foot on the brake. If my car is stationary for any reason and in neutral or park the idle speed remains very constant at about 800 rpm, however if I put the car in to drive or revers...

Re: Interceptor 3 nearing completion

Hi, Looks very nice, but being left hand drive you are going to reduce the number of potential buyers for it. Having done all that work on it I was wondering why you are now selling it? By the way is that the electric water pump that we can see connected to the top hose in one of the pictures? I wou...

Re: Cropredy new build Interceptor

I think this price reflects how much a new Jensen Interceptor would cost in today market if it was still manufactured today, on par with the likes of McLaren, Lamborghini etc. Nice to think I am driving a car that cost £250k new and not a cheap DB9!

Re: 1973 Int MKIII in Louisiana 133/5786

That seems remarkably cheap for what looks like a very good car with excellent upgrades, even with shipping and import costs this would be a great buy, so what's the catch? I'm tempted!
