Re: GT 30055 For Sale in Scotland

Looks very presentable, obviously has an issue with the electric windows and the paint around the rear number plate looks to have been heavily stonechipped. If it were closer I'd have a look but only whilst Mrs H wasn't looking.

Re: GT prices go through the roof. Again

£20K+ for a GT does seem a lot but then what is there to compare it with, the GTs are just so rare these days. Why shouldn't GT prices increase a lot, just because they are not a "flagship" Jensen model like an Interceptor/CV8/541/FF etc. If it takes well over £100k to buy a very good FF i...

Re: GT - Calling Tim

To be clear I take it you are not trying to catch up with me (Tim Hatcher) I know I had a few trim bits off you but I don't remember putting a deposit on the GT shell, however I did ask you to let me know if you had any panels etc left. Having said that I may be on the lookout for a GT roof!

Re: GT steering wheel / vents / headrests

Dished Motolita is the way I have gone, although I have kept the original wheel in case I decide to go back for originality. The Motolita does not flex as much as the original.

Re: Jensen GT project on ebay.

Same person also has a cheviot brown with tan vinyl roof GT for sale, it is stated as being the one built up from parts after Jensen went into receivership (by David Booth). Not sure I am over fond of the colour scheme though, the original SABA blue would have been better?

Re: yet another mk3 project

So get your restoration on the telly and you can double it's value and as it only takes a few weeks to do you can get well paid for it! Journalistic "licence" makes the rest of us all seem so slow!

Re: Restored Jensen Healey Mk1 For Sale

I think I used to own this car before it was restored by Jason at Rejen who bought it from me. If memory serves I had it for around 2 years and used to commute from Portsmouth to Plymouth in it.....it was a very fast car at the time and handled like it was on rails (would do 60 in 2nd). Re: Wanted Jensen SP

That's a really good concept, although I wonder how well it would fair if some one using the facilities got seriously injured etc and our now "blame + claim = cash" society took over. Reminds me of the car club facilities I used to enjoy in the RN. Unfortunately one by one they shut down d...

Re: Jensen GT Restoration Project

It's the fuel bowser he has to tow behind that makes overtaking and parking just that bit more difficult.......

Re: Jensen GT Restoration Project

Why is it so many projects come up when you haven't even finished the one you have started? Likewise I run the risk of a messy divorce if I "jump" in again. But on the positive side at least my dearest would know exactly where I am for the next year or so!

Re: NEC vsitors

Great to see the number of Interceptors various and 541s on all the stands, both clubs and trader for sale stands, must have been well into double figures for Interceptors. Not one CV8? Certainly no Jensen Healeys and no Jensen GTs anywhere to be seen though I guess they must be somewhat rarer and e...

Re: Comments please

£185k seems out of this world, but then compared to the Astons etc.......who would have thought a few years ago they would reach the dizzy heights they do now! Maybe this is just an example of trying to "up" the prices after all a £45k Interceptor looks good value against this one, I mean ...

Could always ask the scammer loads of "noddy" questions, so he/she spends lots of time E mailing and wasting their time?

Jensen GT ON e BAY

If I could remember how to attach a link....... Its a Cropredy advertised car and allegedly an auto, or so it says in the advert! But at a shade under £24k it must be either incorrectly priced or incredible or is sold with a young lady who's father owns a brewery! If it is a genuine asking price is ...

Re: Jensen Healey @ SWVA Auction Poole

I got it wrong, it was OMB 751L, funny I can never remember my wedding anniversary date either! So OMB 751L are you out there? I remember seeing the union jack J/H and it had me running for the photo album only to be dashed when I realised what a difference one number makes!
