That Simca is an absolute gem. Never seen one of those, either as a saloon/coupe or a cabriolet. By the looks of it build by Facel Vega around 1950.

On eBay a Jensen-Healey MkII block with crankshaft and some other components. The bores are rusted but do not show a ridge at the top so the pistons may still be good. As you will paint the car on a low budget go for white. Although looking a bit bland it also does NOT show imperfections in the paint or body work work as other and especially dark colours do.

It would also be interesting to have the same graph based on the nationality of the make of the cars. E.g. a lot of Japanese, German, Korean cars are made in the USA, China, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, India, UK etc.
