The lifting arm is adjustable in height and position, so that will not be a problem.
Furthermore it is cheap so may be worth the gamble?

These do not look to bad. A skilled metal worker could make these very presentable again. What I have is not much better if at all and these things are difficult to find thus expensive in any decent condition. A nice set could set you back over GBP100.

It was not me offering the "hockey sticks" on eBay. However I do have some: one set in aluminium and a not perfect set of stainless steel. I will have a look one of these days if I can find them.

According to Vredestein this does not present any safety issues. However several friends of mine did experience severe balancing issues with these tyres from new which led to replacing the tyres (under warranty) several times. Notably on Triumph TR and Austin-Healey 3000.

Flaring SS pipes can be a problem and SS is prone to fatigue cracking.
Why bother? Cunifer is known to be an excellent and durable replacement for the standard brake pipes and is used by many modern car manufacturers! I don't get it.
