Re: JOC Norway visit to UK summer 2014
Hi Per If you decide to visit the Lake District, which I can highly recommend, I can offer a lot of choices of routes on minor roads all complete with `tulip diagrams` and places to visit and stay. You can visit Brendan in Yorkshire and then come over the hill to Cumbria then on to the International...

Re: Int Coupe for sale
As I remember this car was for sale through CBG in spring 2007 at £55,000.00. Presumably didn`t sell then. If it did quite a good investment.

Re: crashed interceptor at Copart auction
How would the purchaser agree a value of £19000.00 with the insurers having only paid £9100. My insurers always check on values before agreeing and have photos to prove condition. Maybe Copart have added a 1 at the beginning to hopefully increase the auction price. If Tim SP`s car is anything to go ...

Hi Angus, yes your right the pleasure always makes up for the fuel stops. Try Capt. Tolly`s Creeping Crack Cure for the windscreen it`s simple to use and worked wonders for me. Google the name for supplier.

Buyers Guide
There`s an article on the Haggerty Insurance web site giving guidance on what to look for when buying an interceptor. Brief but valid.

Sporting Bears Rally 27th- 29th Sept.
Hagerty Insurance are sponsering a tour in mid Wales run by The Sporting Bears Motor Club to raise funds for childrens hospices around the country. I have entered and it would be great to have some more Jensens along to what promises to be a full weekend. Full details from http://www.sportingbears.c...

Re: Interceptor Convertible at RM in London
A pal of mine has a V8 Vantage and always grumbles if we`re out together that mine gets more attention, also his wife prefers to travel in the Interceptor claiming the ride is more comfortable.

Re: Interceptor Convertible at RM in London
Theres a RHD coming up at Brooklands on 24th Nov. Looks very smart but only estimated at £28/34,000. You`d think RHD would be more as far less made.Advert on car & classics.

Re: 1975 interceptor conv at rm auctions
Looks very nice but lots of other LHD cars available at half the estimated price . I don`t think you can hope to recoup restoration costs at an auction, probably not with a private sale either. Restoration like this must be for the pleasure of owning and running a spectcular car, not for profit. Fun...

Barn Finds
Interesting video on Haggerty web sight comparing barn finds to restoration. Also report on this years Goodwood Revival. My neighbour went last year with his Teal Bugatti, said it was amazing. I might go next year providing it doesn`t clash with the Yorkshire weekend.

Thanks from me and Sharmain (Michelle) to the organisers,a great venue, great company, great cars, Mark even fixed the weather. The drive home on Monday was very wet all the way but it was worth it . Booked for next year before we left.
