Re: mot advisory
I have just had an advisory on my Wraith regarding the tyres because they dont have the E sign on them, this is irritating as they are brand new tyres fitted in the UK in October, it seems that the E sign is not a requirement on UK tyres but over here its mandatory, so no TüV untill my super cheapo ...

Re: The CV8 to EFI conversion compilation - so far
I agree. I would not call that a plumbers nightmare except in the original bending. The result is almost a work of art and is so clear and precise. Normally we refer to plumbers nightmare where there is a maze of pipes criss-crossing each other and it's almost impossible to see where each goes to o...

Bring it on big boy......7.5 litre at 6mpg vs 6.3 litre.......No contest!! And whilst your filling up your 6mpg SP my small engined MK2 will have traveled 3 times the distance as yours and whilst you will be selling organs to follow me, I'll be in the next pub abusing my liver and kidneys....

Re: Tyre Urban Myths? or fact!
I can confirm that modern winter tyres work well below+ 7C. Some years ago we moved from Montreal to washington DC ; capital of the greatest country in the world . As good Quebecers we had 4 winter tyres, consequently we were the only drivers who could start , stop and change direction after a majo...

Re: Tyre Urban Myths? or fact!
I could not visualise driving here in Germany in winter without winter tyres and I think considering the winters UK gets (look at Easter this year in Yorkshire) it should also be a legal requiremnt, they do work. What made me laugh or makes me laugh was upin Haworth end of March/start April this yea...

Re: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
I would never leve an automatic with a column change running if Im not sat in the drivers seat, I learnt my lesson with automatics about 10 years ago in a Range Rover that I left in neutral and forgot the handbrake on a slight decline, I have never run so fast in my life.

Re: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
Just been listening to a bit of SAHB, now the question that poses itself is how do we get from discussing an SS2 all the way to SAHB, I bet Alex Harvey had one!
