Re: Early Mk3 on Car & Classic
Guys, the days of a cheap Jensen have gone, thank god, its got nothing to do with hype or just for a rich mans car, its the way the market is evolving, in fact the days of any cheap hand built classic have gone, want a cheap car buy a 500 quid Jag. These cars are now receiving their true value. I do...

Re: Classic cars on the road
I wanted one of those Super Samuri (sic) 240Z so much when I was a kid! Re: Warranty anyone?
I entirely agree with the comments made - I'm sure I could have gone for the dealer on consumer law rather than the warranty, and Shaun, you're right - it is a money pit that some aspects could have been avoided. And as for customer service - a forgotten skill these days. As for Mr Daly's comments,...

Re: LHD double bumper Conv. ex Canada
I would say it was condition -3 @Torquemada: You're right, I was also in Stuttgart and took a closer look. The entire appearance was disappointing and maybe it was no coincidience that she was placed in the shadow of the stairs. Anyhow the original ad reads, "the car was occasionally driven an...

Re: LHD double bumper Conv. ex Canada
Just got back from the Stuttgart Retro Classic. This car was on the stand next to my (hopefully) new employers stand (anybody fancy a 7lt Iso Grifo in perfect condition) and I had an exeptionally good look at it. It was priced at €50,000and I would say it was condition -3. Paint had more hills than ...
