Re: Jean Smith passed away last night
It was only last October that Alan and Jean were with us and the rest of the "Bude weekend" crowd in Bude for our traditional end of year weekend and while we could see that Jean was not well, to learn this morning of her passing so soon after is quite a shock, certainly not something expe...

Re: Buying an Irish car - Help please
A historic vehicle, that is one that is at least 30 years old, is substantially original with no modifications, will not be used on a daily basis and forms a "work of historic interest" can be imported into the UK with zero import duty and 5% VAT payable. There is a specific customs tariff...

Re: Electric Jensen Interceptor.
Adrian, I think you being disingenuous to suggest that CO2 has no effect on climate temperatures. The science of CO2 absorbing heat is not new, it is over 150 years old. Scientists in the 1850s discovered that CO2 absorbs heat and even then suggested that if there was more CO2 in the atmosphere the...

Re: Chatting with Chat GTP about the C-V8
Chat GPT responds to your comment: As an AI language model, I don't copy or paste content directly from elsewhere. My responses are generated based on patterns and information present in the data I was trained on. While I strive to provide original and helpful responses, I can't guarantee that the ...

Re: Chatting with Chat GTP about the C-V8
Chat GPT seems nothing more than a copy and paste tool. There is nothing original in any of that, all it's done is copied text from elsewhere and pasted it as "it's answers". Quite possibly infringing some copyrights along the way, almost certainly plagiarising others writings.

Re: 'Residual Vehicles'
What a load of drivel and misinformed rubbish. Thank you for that comment, Chris. You are probably correct. What took you so long to respond? Usually, after a quick Google, you come on here and put us straight. You were similarly dismissive of road charging (pay-per-mile) when it was mentioned in t...

We're also in for this trip. Thinking of leaving on Wednesday morning and arriving at the hotel on Thursday and then staying until Monday morning before moving on via Lucerne to the International at Titisee.
Anyone else going (other than Helen & John who've already indicated they're going)?

Re: Viperceptor at Historics Auction RUF 340M
Many moons ago when there was a fad for designing new cars based on an old design (think here of the Rover 75, Jaguar S Type, new VW Beetle and possibly some others too), Keith Anderson produced an image of what someone might do in a similar vein for the Interceptor. I thought the image looked very ...
