Re: Mk 2 int 123/4228 at Silverstone Auction HMK 6k

That’s a deal Jonathan - I am the very happy new owner of 123/4228 and look forward to getting you both together in future. Away for a few weeks, but will drop you a line once I am back and we will sort it. Simon. Amazing! Very pleased to hear it's gone to a good home! I shall PM you for a chat if ...

Wow!

If the new owner ever gets on this board it would be amazing if he saw this thread and gave me a shout. I genuinely loved that car! It would be amazing to see it again.

Re: Mk 2 int 123/4228 at Silverstone Auction HMK 6k

Great back story Alan. Well done for rescuing it. A guy on the forum "JonathanL" was trying to locate this car a few years back...it was red when he sold it and registered JMY 143K apparently. Not sure if he is still looking but I tried sending him a PM. I've just got it! Thank you very m...

Apologies for resurrecting a thread from nearly a decade of oblivion.

Just curious as to whether anyone here knows of my old car or if it's actually owned by anyone here? It would be nice to see it again.

Re: VED bands and Co2 emissions.

I thought that might be the answer but there are later cars, again seemingly identical, which are in the higher band. VED bands and Co2 emissions.

Can anyone help me with a query I have regarding how the VED bands work in relation to the Co2 emissions because I'm a tad confused. The story is that my other half is looking at Merc SLK's. A few of which are very close in date of registration, same model year, have (seemingly) identical engines ye...

Interceptor R UCA 394 seen in Tynemouth

Saw this parked in Tynemouth last week. Interestingly, the DVLA records show that it still has it's original 7,212cc engine. Apologies for the poor quality pics, it was dark and my phone camera is about knackered. https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/oo31/JonathanL44/InterceptorRUCA3941stApril...

Number plate 007 002 I keep seeing round these parts

I keep seeing a Jag XK8 with the number plate 007 002 in the area near me (Tynemouth/North Shields, North East) - but, obviously it does not seem to fit any UK registration mark format - or at least none that I can find. It does not seem to fit any foreign style format either, other than maybe the C...

Re: PKE 267L Interceptor

DVLA doesn't think that's an Interceptor - unless it's had an engine change, that is, as the engine capacity is given as 3992cc.

It didn't have a naked girl on a motor bike so it falls at the first hurdle! Music was also awesome. Wins hands down!
