Re: Classic cars on the road

No photo I’m afraid, but just saw a black Interceptor, 42 LOF in Weymouth. The rear badge had been modified to say ‘Interceptor GS’ And it had four individual, round taillights either side instead of the standard ones.

As a result of bad press for the similar covers on the recently introduced E-type (crazing, steaming up), the Jensen brothers decided to delete them at the last minute, too late to allow any tooling changes, much to my Dad’s disappointment. Couldn’t agree more with all the other comments. Great weekend with excellent company and, er, atmospheric weather. Just in the process of drying out the carpets 8)

Brilliant work John & Jackie!

Having been away over Christmas, we have just got back to learn this very sad news. We can only echo everything that has already been said, Thelma will be sorely missed. Heartfelt condolences to Ron.

He joined Singer in 1931, and was responsible for the Nine Sports 1933 range. You are right Stephen, my Dad did design the Singer 9 Le Mans (although I always thought it was...

Re: Mystery C-V8

I remember seeing a blue CV-8 with wire wheels at the 40th Anniversary in Burghley - it stuck in my mind as being a particularly attractive combination, particularly with the light tan trim.
