Best Battery for a Mk3

Can I poll the membership as to the best battery to put in my Jennie? I've another battery failed on me from Halfords and cannot replace it as I've lost the receipt. I think it was a 570Nm cranking force last time. Is that big enough or would you go higher? I have a Mitzy alternator on the car due t...

Personalised Plates

Does anyone know of a legitimate way I can find out if a reg plate is still on a car on the road? I want to buy my daughter a personalised plate for when she's driving in about eight years. The reg I want is not what you would call a personalised plate in the normal sense but is one that would've be...

Re: Dave Newby

It is with a heavy heart I have just read the news. Dave was the first person I ever met in the club and his wit, charm and infectious enthusiasm sucked me in immediately and I have stayed loyal to the club ever since. He made me feel welcome as a stranger to what has now become a family to me. He w...

Re: Set of uprated six blade fans

No, because the alternator has also been upgraded to handle the extra demand. I have a Mitsubishi Shogun alternator fitted and that's good for over 100 amps so more than enough power on hand.

Set of uprated six blade fans

I have a pair of uprated (VW) fans I have swapped out of my MkIII Interceptor as I have gone for the 35 amp fans. These are less than two years old and in perfect working order.

Offers?

Will be at the Ace on Saturday if anyone is interested in them.

Per's comments about where the club stands on its role as either a UK ...
