Re: Classic cars on the road

Wow a Flaminia Zagato, that is on my list of cars to have before I die. I believe one of the original James Bond books had him driving a Flamina Zagato 3C convertible, but think this was missing from the movie version. A small contribution from Singapore, where classics in any form are extremely ra...

Leaf sprung Jensens

In case I am not the only one being slightly irritated regarding all the negative press regarding the "cart spring" rear suspension of the CV-8s and Interceptor variants, following is mentioned in the November 2011 issue of Classic & Sportscar, in an article dealing with the 1963-1970 ...

After 4 months in Singapore, lots of fancy and expensive stuff, but the classic sightings are nearly zero, and roughly as follow; -1 MG TF, 1 MG Midget -4 VW Beetles -1 Jaguar XJS in very good condition So instead, here is an alternative to a classic: https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/e139/...

Thanks Keith.

Great looking presentation. On a detail level, I would prefer straightening out of the underside of the headlights, for a more "clean" design.

And perhaps some of the Interceptor S mechanical upgrades.

Not beautiful, but still quite cool, in my opinion.

But then I always thought the Aston Shooting Brake editions also were quite cool. As well as the Lynx Eventer XJS.

Having seen and read just about every car club magazine in the UK (and most from elsewhere) I should just stress that, for a club of its size and resources, JOC members are spoiled rotten by the quality of their club magazine, in terms of its editorial standards, photography and production. This is sort of classics on the road. On the 10th of May the annual sports and classic outdoor event took place here, with a mixture of sun and showers. Here are some of the hundreds of the cars that turned up: https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/e139/vennemoe/356SC_edited-1.jpg Porsche 356 S...
