Walnut dash on RHD convertibles started at about chassis 1740 according to Calver and there were 9 RHD cars listed after that plus at least 4 S4 RHD convertibles chassis 2002, 2004, 2005 &2012 which had a walnut dash...so James may well be right. Many have been retro fitted to confuse the pictur...

As I understand it, Lynx was a Company that was asked to create an improved hood mechanism for the 1990's convertibles. I presume it was to help it sit lower which seems to be the major complaint with the Jensen design....not helped when using a mohair top as opposed to the everflex vinyl type? Jens...

The word crashed comes to mind. Removing the sidelights/indicators and replacing the side marker lights with repeater lights must also have seemed a good idea to someone. The vendor is having no more luck selling this than he is his convertible it seems. The price point may also need addressing.....

No I do not recognise it. As Lynx were involved I would guess it has some Jag parts involved somewhere although the electrically operated latches may be Saab???? I hate the closing panel...and what are the presss studs for? The micro-switch in the centre looks equally cheap IMHO as does the handle. ...

Not sure why they opted for the Lynx hood...it looks worse than an original IMHO.
