Anyway, do any of you gentlemen by any chance know the modern paint gode for the nice color?
Best regards,

The original Jensen colour was "California Sage". This is a 1980s Vauxhall colour which is almost identical.

Re: Straight 6 C-V8

I don't know. John Hazzard did some engine swaps in the 80s. I remember an Aston Martin V8 with a Jaguar engine and something else in a Jensen but can't remember what. Is he still on here?

Re: The Story of Ferguson Formula

There seem to be two versions of the book, one with the FF swirls in the centre of the cover and the other with a picture of a single seater racing car. Anyone know what the difference is?

Re: Blithe Spirit 2020

Am also fairly sure the person coming towards us in the second shot is my brother - then owner of H1.

Re: Blithe Spirit 2020

Just for the record regarding Martin's pictures. In the first picture it looks like the then-owner walking away in the distance. In the second picture that's me and my now wife coming out of the workshop with her hand glued to her ear. I drove CAC 41 part way home from that event and it was just so ...

Re: Survivor stats

Very interesting Richard.

Any plans to project those figures backwards to cover earlier models?

Re: Low powered interior heater for the winter

Yes, I could Chris, though it would get in the way of other cars a bit and cost several more than the car is worth - its not a Jensen. I guess long term I need to rationalise cars!

Re: Low powered interior heater for the winter

Thanks Kees. Tubular greenhouse heaters seem to be 45w or 80w, so I hope it would do something. I know - the alternative is to actually use the car, but that's not possible just now!

Re: Low powered interior heater for the winter

One reason for not wanting a mains heater is the need to keep a window open for the cable. I hoped 50w 24/7 would do a little. I guess better still would be a dehumidifier, but can't find one for 12v.

Low powered interior heater for the winter

This isn't for a Jensen, but could be. I have a car which is kept outside during the winter, with the battery on full time charge. Obviously, with cold and damp the interior has a lot of condensation. So, could I plug a low powered heater into the cigar lighter socket and run it 24/7, just to lift t...

Re: Rusting A90 (541) wheel on ebay around £30

Any idea of a date for John's statement that "JML fitted reinforced wheels to later cars." Over the years I've seen a few C-V8s with Rostyle wheels including one "E" registration which may have had them from new. So could the JML statement have meant those, or was it earlier? Mike

I mentioned that car in an article for the JOC magazine maybe ten years ago, together with other connections between Jensen and Aston Martin.

Re: 1952 Interceptor on E-Bay

USK 657 was advertised on e-bay in March 2019 for £75,000. I've not personally seen it for 30 years!
