Re: Spring Weekend 2024 - April 5th to 7th

Lindsey and I will call in on the Saturday, unfortunately I have to fly overseas on the Sunday or Monday and so can't do it time wise to be away for the whole weekend.

Re: Interceptor Door Handles

Just as a update, the door handle units thanks to Charlie Ware, are being scanned.

There has been a delay as Airbus suddenly decided they wanted 1000 custom parts so everything had to be dropped for them!

I will come back and post here when then the outcome is ready and options for the next steps.

Only things, which you will probably have was that it was a white car with the black roof and black interior which was standard. Ex factory on 22/02/72.

If this car was from Vince then it might have been a bit of Imagination of his?

Re: Interceptor Door Handles

Hi Grant, No they wont be cast, but looking at stainless steel or aluminium billet that can then be chromed in the case of aluminium.. as they make parts for aerospace then tolerances are very very fine and hence why they now make engineering parts and milled items for a few companies for their hist...

Re: Interceptor Door Handles

OK well there is possibly interest, but first step is to find a set that are not marked and as good as possible to scan into the system befoe looking at brass which is then chromed or stainless steel. These came as a bundle of parts I bought for a project car that has now been sold without these wheels. They have five...

Re: Int R on Collecting Cars auction site

Considering the price they may want for it, remains a bit dirty for sale - engine bay, carpets and I note the bubbling on the exterior paintwork.

Still a nice one to have as a extra to the Jensen fleet I guess
