Thanks Martin. Just had it mot serviced timing belt replaced and had filled it up for a weekend away this Saturday. So 1200 out of pocket as well. To say am sick is an understatement.

Just away in the motor home with no signal.
So finished off watching Luther last episode series three.
There is a dark brown Mk 1 FF with black interior an cotton reels.
The over dub of the engine running sounds like a Perkins firing on three.

What is the problem are you blipping it when cold to keep running? The Holley has a stepped cam on the choke with its own idle setting. If the byometel coil is not set right for the choke you would need to keep blipping it. It may not have power so will not be working at all but would run very rich....

It looks like he has made the roof panel from 3 sections using a very fine weld HiYa Francis :P .. Yes 3 parts by the look of it, I was thinking on getting one from him if the price is right Francis, I would then like to cut a steel pan sunroof into it from the XJ40, I have always liked my Webasto ...
