Re: LED headlight bulbs
Weird as this really has always been the case. Technically LED or HID bulbs cannot be fitted to a reflector unit designed for filament H4 / H3. But you can fit a whole unit designed for LED. I suppose they are just reminding MOT testers now. I've looked on ClassicCar LED website but can't see any di...

Re: LED headlight bulbs
From 1st Feb LEDs cannot be fitted into headlight units that were designed for std halogen! Apparently this will be an MOT faliure :( From what I have heard the Police will also be enforcing this one so those that dont get an MOT wont get away with it. You will probably get away with it in your mod...

Re: Classic cars on the road
I appreciate it is an out of the ordinary design, which is a plus in my book, but never much liked them. As for the "mint" and "straightest" example, the left hand door front bottom corner does not line up too well. The chrome wheel trims looks a little out of place on a car wit...

Re: Modified Cars - The Good , Bad & Ugly ..
Yeah the brass hook was temporary until I could get a working glove box latch.
I had the interior done professionally and they said they couldn’t save the stainless steel strip when redoing the door panels so we agreed on using the grey perforated vinyl used for the seat inserts.

Re: alloy wheels for Jensen-Healey
Thanks Kees, I just made the winning bid at £99. Now just have to find some tyres to put on them my calculations 215/60R13 would give pretty much the same rolling diameter but looks like only 205/60R13 is available.

Re: First Jensen Healey GT article Sept 1992 Classic Cars
The picture is interesting, it has early wheels but late front wings and light buckets. Although the wings etc are a common retrofit on restoring mk1’s without much modification, the late bumpers would have been difficult to fit surely?

Nice Adam, did you use a separate mic in the car? When I mount a camera where you did I get loads of wind noise.adamfschr wrote:It was a very good day out, here is my video https://youtu.be/YoqTfixzvPE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
