Can we bring back the Joke thread?

I am curious if the moderators can restore the Joke thread? when I do a search on the new website it shows multiple links and partial jokes. When I click on the links i get a dead end. Is there anyone else that would like it restored?

Re: Forum traffic decline - or my bad maths

I feel the decreased traffic is directly related to the number of posts in the joke thread. British humor is not what it used to be,,,,, entertaining to the colonials :D

My original wood dash for my convertible was never returned- It was replaced by a new fiberglass copy- My original chassis number was written on the fiberglass- I suspect it it is original yellowed fiberglass, it will probably have my chassis number on it.

Re: My other red runner

The Essex V6 , 3000M cars were imported to the US in 76-79, but most of the imported TVRs were still 2500M models. My first car was a 65 mustang fastback, poppy red. It's replacement was a 66 gt350H replica that I have owned since 1987. Greenville, Kentucky is 45 miles south of the Ohio river and 11...

Re: My other red runner

Hi Richard, Would have PM you, but you have not set it up in your contact info. Love the Taimer, I had a 73 2500M from 2000 to 2019. Wolfrace wheels, triple Webers, Kent cam, O/D and it would go wherever you pointed it. The Lucas/TVR wiring was its bane and I sold it to a fellow TVR nut. When we san...

Re: 541 FML 541 185206 Bill Woodhouse

Fiberglas was developed by Owens-Corning in Newark, Ohio. My grandfather worked there from the 1930"s until the early 60's. Chevrolet sent a clay mock up corvette body to Newark to make the molds. two prototype bodies were made with the new molds. One body remained in Newark and the new molds, ...
