Re: Jensen FF reviewed on Tyrrells classic workshop
was a briliant video, and the similarities between the Iso Grifo and the early interceptors is striking.
Although, to be fair, the body lines on the Iso are a lot sexier actually..

Re: Techno Classica in Essen - JOC is ready
I'm sorry to say that this year (for the first time in a while) I wasn't planning to go to Essen. I did miss completely that the JOC club would be stationed there again, was nice meeting you all last year.

thanks Shaun, that would be helpful. I'm reaching out to the people mentioned above too. (Ulrich I already had)
I've tried to get in touch with the Brussel dealership that sold my car initially (Brussel, Beherman) but have not had any luck. Jacque hasn't replied yet

1967 Paris Motorshow - leads wanted
Hi all, jensen lovers in france. I wanted to ask for some advice or direction, in my quest to uncover more information about my car. I've seen two pictures of the 1967 Paris Motorshow, where two early Sincar (Vignale Left Hand Drive) vehicles were put on display. From the records, it seems that one ...

Re: Awareness - Top Gear
that's great, no such thing as bad press, right?
Do you know if it was a cameo, or something a bit more substantial?

Re: Vignale aluminium seal trim
It is alloy 6063, in an untempered state (-0) which is an alloy that typically doesn't require heat treatment or annealing as it has a high elongation before break (18%) factor. I also find it quite bendable/pliable by hand, but I will try my hand at making a few bending jigs and rollers to make a m...

Re: Vignale aluminium seal trim
Yes, something like that.. I think a combination of a few roller wheels or bearings would work.
Also most sections are actually quite straight. The only problematic section is the bottom of the quarter windows, rest should be pretty straight forward to make fit using a wooden template or similar.

Vignale aluminium seal trim
For those that hadn't seen the post yet. I've had a small batch of aluminium trim produced that is used on Vignale and early MK1 cars. It retains the rubber seal around the doors and quarter windows. If your car has lost them, here's your chance to restore this unique feature. 2.png 1.PNG 3.PNG and ...

Re: Cropredy Bridge Open Day Saturday 18th June 2022
Hi all, I have a kind request to all JOC members that visited this lovely open day. As you might now, i'm researching and preparing my own restoration of 117/2592 the last year, and the Sincar job Cropredy showcased would be a brilliant piece of research material for me. (I know they spend the time ...
