Given it is being auctioned, and the sunroof, dash and bonnet not original, any ideas on whether possible to check if it still has its original numbers and any views on the underneath of the car from the auction photos?

Did 1972 cars have wood dashboards? Or have this and the sunroof been added later.

Is there a mod to get the roof of a convertible to sit flatter when down? Seem to remember reading that you can take out the power lift and open and close manually to achieve this.

Julian, Thanks. The LS3 idea was because one of the cars I have been offered has a very straight body but the engine has been removed.
