Re: Mk 3 Int Project 128-4841 at Anglia Auction

Thanks - that’s helpful. I meant matching engine and chassis numbers. Looks like one to avoid unless it could be bought for £7-8,000

Re: Mk 3 Int Project 128-4841 at Anglia Auction

Given it is being auctioned, and the sunroof, dash and bonnet not original, any ideas on whether possible to check if it still has its original numbers and any views on the underneath of the car from the auction photos?

Did 1972 cars have wood dashboards? Or have this and the sunroof been added later.

Re: Wood dash MK3 Interceptor

Does anyone know this car and it’s condition? There is also a blue car (originally black) for sale at the same auction.

Re: 1973 MK3 Interceptor Barn Find Value???

Hi, Im also interested in buying your car. I am a private not a trade buyer and am looking for a car to restore. I had agreed to buy a mustard dry state left hand drive car but the seller who claims to be a West Coast Jensen specialist did not have title and then went AWOL! I have restored a couple ...

Hi,

I also went to see the car yesterday so thanks for sharing your thoughts after your visit. This does seem one to walk away from.

Re: A well known RED Interceptor for sale

Shaun I sent an email asking about condition and for photos but no response. I see the description says the car needs beams. Presume this means it will need floors, inner arches etc. You mentioned the car is known in the club if anyone has seen the condition any information would be gratefully recei...

Re: 1974 Int MKIII Convertible on Ebay

Is there a mod to get the roof of a convertible to sit flatter when down? Seem to remember reading that you can take out the power lift and open and close manually to achieve this.

Interceptor on EBay USA

Hi,

There currently an orange series 2 interceptor for sale on EBay USA. The seller seems active in buying cars and restoring these to driver condition and the reselling. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know by PM.

Thanks

Re: Engine upgrades

Julian, Thanks. The LS3 idea was because one of the cars I have been offered has a very straight body but the engine has been removed. A new LS3 crate engine seems to be about the same price as buying an original engine and having this rebuilt.I am trying to work out how much work it would be to fit...

Engine upgrades

Hi, I am looking at buying and Interceptor to restore. I’ve seen some of the articles on the forum about the cost. I have a factory restored concours wining Jaguar and other restored classics so know the deal about the economics of this route. Looking at the restoration blogs on the website, it look...
