Re: Jensens on TV

Hi All.
I noticed that the murderer on "Endeavour", last night, was driving a blue Jensen 541.
You had to be quick to see it so I missed the registration number.
As these are new productions, it seems that the Jensen marque still keeps cropping up on the box
Take care.

Re: Jensens on TV

Hi All Just watching "Talking Pictures" on the box and caught another Jensen. The film was a crime thriller called "The Marked One" from 1963 and at the beginning a couple of crooks are driving an early Jensen Interceptor registration RLT 790. It seems 60's crooks had some taste....

Cars & Coffee Inverness

Hi All. At our regular "Cars & Coffee" event last Sunday where the sun was shining and the turn out was magnificent a Jensen pitched up which I have not seen for several years. It is a very nicely presented red 541R, owned by a local chap who has just retired from owning a spray paint ...

Re: Jensens on TV

Hi. Just watched the "Car Years" on ITV4. The outcome was a disappointment when the Lotus Europa was selected over the Jensen Interceptor FF Mk1 even though I like the Europa, (probably my favourite Lotus, as it has quirky styling). While watching, I caught the registration number of a bla...

Re: Jensens on TV

Hi Thanks to covid/flu I am confined to barracks for the moment. Because of this I was watching the TV today and another re-run of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip and spotted the Blue Interceptor belonging to Great Escapes (mentioned before on this thread), the registration number is LPB 63 N and it ha...

Re: Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, Thirlestane Castle.

Hi
Yes the grey Jensen 541 belongs to Tom MacWhirter of the Moray Motor Museum. Used to be a member but think he has lapsed, mind you he has loads of cars so memberships must cost a bomb.

Re: Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, Thirlestane Castle.

Hi All Also at Thirlstane Castle but for both Saturday and Sunday. The hill climb was pretty good with some interesting racers and spirited driving along with lots of noise. Attendance on both days was very good judging by the queues for the numerous food outlets. Got a photograph of a new member ca...

Re: Electric Gordon Keeble.

Hi Jens I may be being a bit cynical, but was the owner of the Gordon Keeble given an incentive (possibly by the TV programme), to change his car on TV? I just cannot help but feel that the establishment is pushing electric vehicles in an effort to get us "on side". As I said in my earlier...

Re: Electric Gordon Keeble.

Automotive vandalism, I hope the owner realises that he has devalued the car. It still amazes me as to the approach of companies like Vintage Voltage still just bang on about the main advantage of electrifying classics is the increase in speed. Most classic enthusiasts buy their cars because of what...

Re: Spring Break 2022

Hi Everyone. The Spring Break was, I feel, a success and great fun. Even the weather cooperated, some haar (heavy sea mist) in the morning which gradually burned away during the day meaning that it was not too cold for the people and not too warm for the cars. It did rain on Monday morning though. I...
