Re: Interceptor Mk3 Tools and age-appropriate radios

Hi Mark - when Rejen restored my interior they replaced the Halfords-spec 90s CD/Radio with a Motorola/Jensen 8 Track, which powers two speakers in the front foot wells, but it also has a hidden amp with Bluetooth that powers 4 bigger/better speakers in the door cards and the rear. When you get in t...

Re: My other red runner

Karan - she’s in beautiful condition. Someone spent a LOT of time and energy on her. Just a couple of tiny things that needed sorting which I’m addressing at the moment. Not in the OC. Haven’t decided if I’m keeping her yet - I only bought it in November :0)

Re: Goodwood Breakfast Club

I’ll be there for the V-Power Day on 1 March - I have a Grid Pass for the Corvette. Ive also applied for the August one for Classics for the Interceptor, and the Supercar day in June (again for the Z06). I usually do at least a couple of these a year (and best followed by lunch at The Kennels! :0) )...

Re: So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

Neil - the manifold is a Edelbrock Performance 440, the Carb is a 750cfm Edelbrock. Jason or Steve would be able to give you the exact model, but I think its a Performer AVS. They set it up for me when they installed it, so they’d know the jets etc they used. Greg

Re: So 1835 is now at Rejen ...

So - had her back to Rejen again for a new Edelbrock: knew it would need it done as the choke mechanism failed whilst it was at Rejen last year, and the carb was definitely tired. The ever-brilliant Jason and Steve sorted it out and suggested that in addition to the carb, a performance manifold woul...

Re: Mk3 at Mathewsons auction 2nd Nov

It is Duncan - there is a very nice MKI on The Market for 29k! And that red one that’s been on eBay for a while at around 30 IIRC - only in June, that blue one at Goodwood made 30 plus premium, and it wasn’t all that! Weird - I guess it just proves the point that you should buy cars like these to lo...

Re: Mk3 at Mathewsons auction 2nd Nov

So I guess the white one in H&H (8k miles, guided at 40-50) will be an interesting lot!
