Re: Two Tone Interceptor Barn Find
David, When an Interceptor was painted two tone, or duotone as it was referred to, the colour change was for the roof so literally only the roof panel had the change of colour, certainly not on the waist line like this one! Quite a few Mk1s were painted duotone. Only about a dozen or so Mk2s were d...

Re: Two Tone Interceptor Barn Find
Hi A stupid question. Are there any records of any Interceptors being painted two tone by the factory(I know this one is strictly 3 tone)? I am excluding out vinyl or painted roofs. The reason that I am asking is that is the sort of thing I could imagine new owners specifying. I am currently working...

Re: Seat Trim Polishing
Sorry to slightly hijack the thread, but my chrome trims on my Mark 111 are pitted, does anyone have any experience of getting them refurbished ? I would rather get them refurbished than replaced, but assume in the worst possible case I can get new ones?

Re: Restore or Restomod?
I do get those owners who want to keep originality. But I prefer to drive the car in a more relaxed and frequent manner so subtle upgrades facilitated by technology improvements improves for me the driving experience and useability: keeping it cooler, holding the road and riding better, freeing up s...

Re: Berkeley Brown ?
Thanks Guys... Positano Yellow..I do like it... :) PS Cliff Richard later stated that he wished he hadnt got rid of his Interceptor. Mango was painted on only a couple of cars as the original customer who commissioned the colour complained that it was not exclusive when Jensen painted 1 or more othe...

Re: On the road
Let's face it. All the Jensen's in standard form were intended for the emerging freeways especially in the UK where there was no speed limit for some years. I was actually pulled over on the M1 by a couple of female cops in a Daimler Dart SP 250. They said I was lane changing in an Anglia 105E with...

Re: Car Tax evasion triples after paper tax disc scrapped
If they count the number of cars , then they have the data and I assume the registered address. Ok many will not be legit addresses, but they have names, addresses and phone records and credit card/ bank / loan account details and HRMC information and other information..all linked to the automatic A...

Re: AF Concorde- a national disgrace
Plemty of evidence to show that if 1. The maintaince schedule was done correctly 2. Pilots followed their own protocols/ regulations re fuelling, take off procedure, trimming, weather restrictions .....The plane would have been in a better position and probably not crashed. That said it was cutting ...
