Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
As I wrote, although most facts are already known, I will investigate the origin of the story. However, I think, I should link an article in which I say a big "thank you!" to Thomaslk, Alpinist and Challenger (mention you in the order, in which I contacted you): http://motofiction.eu/the-i...

Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
Richard Calver
Thank you very much. Could we find out how many Interceptors were built in the 1987 and if any of them was sent to Germany?
Another question: were there attempts to get the factory acceptance for some of the customizations you write about?

Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
cannonball I also take my hat off to Mr Calver and Mr Woodhams. If Mr John Page says so, we can be sure that there were no factory-customised LHD FF. Yet, for example, Mr Richter could have attempted to make such modification with cooperation of some German garage. Then, there would be hardly any e...

Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
Thomas, thank you very much. There are still some things that make the story interesting- Mr Bauer's granddaughter confirms that he bought "a fancy British RHD car" in 1987. We know that the car didn't become a factory-customised LHD FF. But what was it in the beginning? A second-hand FF? ...

Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
So, I have asked challenger for posing Mr John Page (the Service Manager / Developement Engineer at Jensen Parts & Service) and Mr Peter Mayle (general repairs and resto work specialist) a question, if there may be a factory customised LHD FF from the 1987. From what I understand, the answer is ...

Re: Cars you have a hankering for...
I would really love to drive this:

Five cars produced.
Curious fact: Mega Track has almost the same torque distribution as FF- 34/66.

Re: Jensen Liquidation May 1976
Challenger, excuse me for the timing of this questions, but may I ask when did Peter Mayle (the one mentioned in your posts) work for Jensen and what was his position?

Re: Jensen Liquidation May 1976
I've read about it. However, the writer died in Provence and the Peter Mayle mentioned here was staying in the Great Britain on the 14th of January. So, they may be a family or it may be a coincidence of names.

Re: Any trace of a LHD FF?
Thank you Felix.
I have already written a message to Martin. I know that the 127/308 is not LHD. However, if it had been sold by Mr Bauer, I would be able to eliminate some confusion from the data I gathered.
