Sounds great Richard. Really missing our trips to Scotland so please put me down. I may even be able to get the family to come up too!

That is good news and I look forward to it. We have certainly had some good times at Wroughton in the past.

Re: Bangers & Cash 22/10/2020 2 x Jensens

I watched the repeat last night. Good PR for the JOC but surprised none of you picked up on the Jensen-Healey which was also featured and looked good although still fetched a low price. They even showed a picture of VRT for information on the marque!

Re: First Jensen Healey GT article Sept 1992 Classic Cars

An interesting car. According to the Jensen Genome this was chassis no. 1110/13910 originally LHD and yellow with Jensen-Healey dashboard, first registered December 1974, but was then converted by the factor to RHD and painted red with black vinyl roof. It apparently survived until 1999 which was pr...

Re: Possible South West Tour 2021 (Devon / Cornwall)

Hi John,
Definitely interested in joining you again and your effort is always much appreciated. Goodwood haven't released a date for the Revival yet so perhaps it might be worth going for the following weekend (24th-26th) to avoid any clashes.

We need something to look forward to!

Re: Driver tests on the Jensen Interceptor 3 and Healey

Hi Richard,
Brooklands Books have included the Jensen-Healey article in the Jensen-Healey 1972-1976 Book which is a compilation of the all the road tests, comparison tests, etc. by RM Clarke. I expect John Lane will already have a copy of the book.

Re: Well known MK2 - Collecting Cars

I thought I recognised it but was confused by the number place change. I remember judging this car when it entered Concours in 2014 and we were amazed at the quality of the restoration. As Toby says it was still in excellent condition in 2018. I do hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

Interceptor on A170 near Kirkbymoorside

Took the FF out to dispel the doom and gloom this afternoon and was delighted to see an Interceptor heading in the opposite direction. I think it was brown or possibly dark red but didn't recognise it. I hope you had fun too.

Re: NEC Classic Car Show November 2020 - Organiser's Anounce

Thanks Shaun. I fear it was inevitable and I shall miss seeing everyone although not the aching back! That means no Jensen events for me this year which I never thought would happen. Hoping for a more sociable 2021.

Re: Interceptor Registration Numbers

Hi Jim,
I'm a little surprised to find 872 AYL on your list as I thought it was quite well known in the club but this is FF 127/273 which has been in our possession since August 2006. It's original Reg is not known but it has had this since at least 1973.

Amazing! Does this mean I'm still 'the girl who's going places' although obviously wasn't meant to actually drive it!! The maxi dresses are long gone though. So many lovely cars at that show which must still be around today.

Re: Rare FF Mk3 going to auction

Having consulted Ulric Woodhams oracle, this car has been in Devon since September 1983 and the purchaser still owned the car in 1990 so you are probably right John - it has been in a garage for 25 years or so.

Re: Concours Results

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who entered. It is always a nice surprise to see the results as the judges really don't know until everything is added up. I would like to echo Zac Marshall's sentiments about missing the International and catching up with everyone. This has been part ...

Wow! It's looking really good now Lindsey. How nice to have a Healey as car of the month. I like the seatbelt brackets - where did you get them from? Look forward to seeing it again soon.
