Re: 1974 Road Test of MK3 Interceptor.

The article is reproduced in the excellent Jensen Interceptor ultimate portfolio by Brooklands Books, with 60 odd other articles between 1966 and 1992. I highly recommend it.

Re: LONDON CLASSIC SHOW

Couldn’t agree more. Really good Jensen presence at the show. Very interesting chat with super chap from JIA and nice to see Cropredy Bridge stand. As ever the Jensen Owners Club stand was quite excellent. For me with a Jensen bias, this was the best show so far.

Re: New paint on my Interceptor!

Looks fantastic. Had a look at the website at the red Jensen with gold stripe, thinking it was yours - bit shocked to discover it was mine!

Re: Cropredy Shock

I certainly wasn’t seeking to contradict you at all. I was hoping that someone would come forward with some records as I have tried in vain to learn more of the rebuild. My car is pictured in the Tipler book in the restoration section but I wasn’t able to see it in the factory video of 1988, althoug...

Re: Cropredy Shock

I’ve since been corrected by the previous owner, Mark Maniatt. Mark tells me that OHU 1M was the last car refurbished to a Mark 4 upgrade and was the last car to leave the factory after being total refurbished from top to bottom including a full engine rebuild. Apparently, Jensen’s felt justified i...

Apparently the last Jensen made is for sale there. Beautiful looking car in metallic burgundy.

Re: Mk3 Interceptor - PKP 700M

I started my obsession with interceptors after seeing John Pelly's Jensen in the West Malling Garage showroom. They had by then, 1996, become a decent secondhand car dealership specialising in Toyotas, but the Jensen took pride of place in the showroom. I bought a mk1 MR2 which I later sold back to ...

Re: London Classic Car Show 2018

Any chance Rejen or Cropredy Bridge will have a stand? - I’ve No doubt Aston’s will have Nicholas Mee, Desmond J Smail and Aston Workshop, along with Jaguar specialists, Rolls Royce and Bentley specialists etc etc.
I live in hope...But well done to the JOC for flying the flag.

Re: 5 Interceptors & 1 SP for sale at Cropredy bridge

Cropredy Bridge seem to have changed their policy on POA and most cars now have prices. Nice looking cars. Bit short for the third building slot at £248,000 though.

MOT's are useful for mileage verification and those who voluntarily put their cars through will no doubt appeal to future buyers.

Re: Red late Mk III Interceptor, wooden dash.

Well Joe I am happy to tell you that since I bought it I've travelled further in it than it had been in the previous 23 years. Every mile, but one, has been a joy - not so much when the alternator packed up. It is a dream to own and drive although I confess it winters in dehumidified isolation. Roll...

Re: Int III fully restored

This car has been the subject of many posts over the last three years. Not sure if it has ever been sold in that time. Does look nice though.
