Everyone - Thanks for your kind comments. Rocky - the wheels on the car when I won the auction were popular but now quite rare alloy Globe wheels 15x7. Fitted to Ford Falcon GT and others. Interesting same pcd as Jensen.

A story from downunder - 1969 Mk1 Jensen Interceptor
Hi Raj - Just wondering if you could put me in line for future car of the month submission. A story from down under could be a novelty. I noticed on the website relating to this subject showed it was locked. Appreciate if you could advise. Cheers - ROD

Re: Mk 3 Interceptor 1974
Karan - You may have stuck floats in the float chambers. I dont see a sight glass each end to help you gauge interior float level. If any float is stuck with fuel inlet open you are going to have massive flooding. Maybe put plenty of old rags below carby area and undo fuel lines at each end and disa...

Re: 115/3227 - Update on my restoration
Colin,
Have not had the chance to give the car a good roadtest. Still working on getting it registered first. Do not believe there will be any difference. Then again the car was not driveable when I got it. Thus week was the first time I actually drove the car out of the garage. Cheers

Re: 115/3227 - Update on my restoration
Finally after 5.5 years (not full time) my 1969 Mk 1 Jensen is now basically finished on the outside. Color is Prussian Steel with bone trim. I think it has come up really well. Some details on restoration include the following 1. Engine completely rebuilt including new bearings, seals, rings, heads ...

Re: Non starting MK1 383
Take out 2 plugs from each side and lay them out still connected to leads. Turn engine over and check closely to see if they are producing spark. If they are put them back in. Most likely all of them are sparking. Put some juice down the carb. Have someone key the starter and gently press accelerato...

Re: 140/5977 Interceptor 3 restoration
Lovely Car. Great job. I note with interest that you have your radio aerial in middle front of roof. My Jensen 115/3227 Feb 69 had that fitted when I purchased the car 5 years for restoration. Was it ever an option on Jensens or was/is it just a personal choice. I have filled in my roof and am using...
