Re: Lightweight Interceptor - is this truth?

Dear all.

Can this post be shut down please.

Keep the photos, and yes, yes I don't have to read it, but much of the content doesn't help...anything really, let alone the standing of the JOC.

Re: A Responsible Approach to Classic Car Motoring

I think this is where some would like 'us' all to go - back to a pre-mechanised world, just so long as 'they' don't have to... Whilst considering off-setting pollution by a tax to plant trees or subsidise horrendous wind (bird free zone) turbines might be considered 'responsible', surely that infers...

Re: DAMAGE TO BODYWORK ON MY MK 2 FENDER AND ROOF !

Hi Steven. I don't have any answers, but certainly feel for you. That's a real shame -but fixable. The last photo you posted is from an annual car show in Sydney Australia, and yes that's a nice Mk.2. I like the look of the tire profile on your car - are they 225/60/15 ?? Best wishes to you, and I h...

Re: Restomod Interceptor coming soon

Hmmm, each to their own.. I don't understand, amongst other things with that build, the bonnet scoop. They've cut vents immediately ahead of the intake which appears would draw hot air from the engine bay directly into the engine intake?? Perhaps it's to be used in a cold climate. In any regards, th...

Re: How `Climate Change' Was Invented

The debate of 'what is climate change' isn't accurate, it's emotive. The question needs to be what outcome do you want and what are you going to do about it. The argument against Anthropogenic, or man made climate change shows us we need to stop burning fossil fuels. Okay, let's stop and see what we...

Beautiful car Rohan - congratulations! " One of the reasons that he put the car on the market was because he found it quite stressful to drive as a lot of drivers would drive up really close in order to try and identify the car". I have similar feelings driving my car as I notice more driv...

So nice to read an article with such humour. The PC brigade have done much to lower the standards of journalism.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Ultra Low Emission Zone - London

Hi Shaun, Thanks for sharing that one - no prospect of a similar scheme here in Australia, but I suspect the passing of time may change that. It's another Tax for all intent but I note it doesn't include aircraft? Perhaps they're Euro exempt or the legislation is restricted to a certain air density....

Congratulations! Looking forward to the photo's!!! Love the early C-10's - a good stablemate too, as is a library for a Jensen. There's a Chassis Data book and others with an unparalleled record for the marque. Look up http://www.richardcalver.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...
