Re: Is Harry teasing us?

Both really interesting guys, if you have an hour or 2 to hand, worth watching better than anything on TV and addictive. I like the one where Harry picks his Espada up, he talks about the old 7.5 ton truck he uses more than the Espada and he is right in everything he says about it.

Re: Jensen Factory postcard

Pensnett; Most of the area has been redeveloped, the railway track has been lifted, but you can still see it's route outline, and the houses in the background in the middle photo, on Tansey Green Rd, are still there. Also in the middle photo the far lefthand building, this side of the road, is the o...

Re: Keeping Busy Whilst Self Isolating

Not converting the 8 track, but have an amp for the speakers, hidden somewhere, probably under the seat, a graphic equaliser which will sit in the centre console with the Dab radio unit which has the MP3 input, so will control it all from here. The 8 track will plug into the graphic equaliser via so...

Re: Keeping Busy Whilst Self Isolating

Just resurrecting this thread, as I'm still on furlough and have finished the work to my house, including porch, roof and some windows, So the cars have been neglected, but have had the Cortina interior back from the trimmers and am very happy. Have been getting bits together to do a few things, wil...

Int MK1 Switch Panel

I'm looking for a MK1 Interceptor Switch panel and the panel around the gear selector. Don't need the switches and don't care what condition they're in as I will be covering them in leather. I don't want to cover my existing ones as the veneer is good and if I don't like the leather look, then I can...

Re: Who's first

Just got on, will explore tonight, to see how it all works. Well done all that have been involved, I'm sure lots of work, and probably still quite a bit to go with odd niggles which will crop up.

Re: Scalextric spares, restoration....and just about everyth

I too still have all my slotcars, not from my childhood but started again with a set in my mid 20's. Have got loads of track, so much that when I moved to my present house, 25 years ago, I boarded the loft, carpeted it and set it all up. I had a main straight 15 sections long, with a banked curve at...

Re: The Sweeney

Great program, probably the best cop series ever, with great cars. I too clocked that Interceptor, but love that Granada Ghia form the later series, I had a coupe in exactly that colour, with the brown vinyl roof an velour interior. :)

Re: NEC Classic Car Show November 2020 - Organiser's Anounce

This is bad news, and unfortunately as I work for the NEC group we will have no income for the foreseeable future, which will mean at the end of October, when furlough finishes, I can only see company "re-structuring" happening. The exhibition and conferencing sector is in dire straights a...

Adam had more guts than me, you literally cannot see more than a few meters ahead as the banks are high, and you know somewhere there is a sharp S bend. Good to see him getting the back twitching, and looks a well sorted car. :D

Shelsey Walsh Hill Climb

Had a good day out today at Shelsey Walsh. The Midland Rolls-Royce club organised an afternoon at the hill, and Alan Jones (FF & RR Phantom) kindly asked if my local car club would be interested in joining them. This went down very well with my club, together with a few JOC members, 25 cars arri...
