Re: Forum traffic decline - or my bad maths
Well done Zac, I can now see them if I move my hair from in front of my eyes

Re: Forum traffic decline - or my bad maths
Shaun, my hair is longer than it has ever been, didn't have it cut last year, and is probably as long as Alan Jones' at the moment. Having to tie it up when doing any work as it just gets in the way

Re: Forum traffic decline - or my bad maths
As many of you know I'm a regular, and my posts have declined, purely as there is nothing new going on, due to lockdown. I have been steadily pootling about in the garage, doing bits on all 4 of my cars, but nothing really drastic to report, and certainly no events have been attended. The new forum ...

Re: Kevin Birch
Getting the angle grinder out at the weekend, and setting up my MIG welder with the pigeon-shit wire in it to try to replicate this awesome mod :D . Never seen that way of lowering a car, hope the bonnet is reinforced to support it when they let go on the first bump in the road. Cheers Grant...

Bugger, just picked this up, I may have been able to persuade some locals, and I would have gone if it had been another day. Hope one of us managed to get there.

Re: Cortina galore!
Great photo, me being a Cortina fan, how things have changed, they all have just 1 wing mirror on the driver's side. Looking at the number plates, they could be consecutive from UBR381 to UBR411, non of which are known to the DVLA now. All appear to be 2 doors, so desirable today, pre airflow models...

Re: New FF Owner
Welcome, I would take up the advice to send your carb to Dave Barrnett, he is very reasonable on price and his turn around is usually a couple of weeks, and you just bolt it on then set up the idle stop. I seem to remember at the international a few years ago, somebody said that there were 4 FFs pro...

Re: Rocking horse poo!
Just bought a SAAB convertible with a bonnet bra, looks better with it as there is a dent on the bonnet
Will get the dent sorted then keep the bra off.

Re: Rocking horse poo!
I wouldn't mind a pair of those, have you thought of getting them scanned so they could be 3d printed? Pretty sure you'd get some interest in them.

Re: Rock Stars Cars
My hair is longer than John's now, having managed to not having it cut last year, but not going to grow a moustache, as I'll look like a 70's porn star  If only my motor was one of John's, I'd be a very happy man, but I have posted elsewhere that I knew the people who bought his house off him...

Thought I'd posted on here that I have now got these items, but obviously had a senior moment. Thanks for all your offers.

Re: Insurance
Hi Simon, Welcome to the club. I have tried in the past to get insurance that would cover my son to drive my Interceptor, even on the basis of him driving only when I am with him, so that he could do some of the driving on some of the long trips abroad. Alas I couldn't find anybody to do it under a ...

Re: Keeping Busy Whilst Self Isolating
Joerg, the "B" looks really straight and reminds me when my dad had one in the early seventies, in primrose yellow. We went on holiday in it, mum, dad me and my brother and a week's luggage from B'ham to Gatwick airport where we boarded a (Dan Air) Dehavilland Comet to Greece. I re...

Re: Is Harry teasing us?
I like watching Harry's videos, he doesn't shout or scream, just good informative comments of old and new alike, with no drama. I've just watched his video on taking a £4000 '69 Silver Shadow to the Arctic circle, a typical untidy wedding car that could do with some love.
