Re: FF front suspension

The number listed on the web site is the same as the one I have but, I also have a mobile number for Dave Barnett too.
I'd prefer not to ring the number listed without a good reason for me to call him.
Perhaps other people might know if his landline is disconnected / discontinued?

It looks lovely - great colour combo and lovely panel gaps. Good luck with the sale.

Re: FF front suspension

Have you tried calling "FF Dave" - Dave Barnett?
He might know about the differences between MK1 and MK2 off the top of his head.

Re: Spring Weekend 2024 - April 5th to 7th

Oh dear, I had hoped that the roads might have improved in the UK over the last 5 months since I've been in Australia but it seems it is not the case.
They were absolutely disgraceful when I left, so I can't begin to imagine how bad they are now :(
Sorry you had to endure them Kees.

Did you notice the "Honey, I shrunk the Fiat Seicento" in the background? A Trecento maybe...
Looks just like a full size Seicento to my eyes. 1998-2004 model.

Re: New toy, sorry tool

These look great! There are so many tools I've never seen or even heard of. I quite often see Steve Payne at his home and he loves showing his latest new tool or gadget, some are simply amazing. I really like the socket set he has, with a dial on the end of the shaft so when space is limited, instea...

Regardless, if the C-V8 that Ian is working on hits the magical 200mph, it will officially be "The World's Fastest Jensen".
I wish Ian every success with his attempt(s).

Thank you for sharing the deatils.
Sadly, with me being in Sydney until later in April, I won't be able to join you in person but my thoughts will be with you all.
I hope the day goes as well as possible.

Re: FF 078 project at CCA Auction

I guess things changed a lot since 2007 but you're right about a good solid car being worth it.
It's easy to spend a LOT of money on renovations, unless you're truly capable of, and prepared to do all (or most) of the work yourself.

Blimey, that's about what I paid for my car (FF) back in 2007 :!:
(I did however spend a little extra having things restored)
