Re: 116/3328 VYA engine rebuild
Having got the car back from Culverlands and looking so nice it seemed a shame not to liven up the new switch panel by having a go at fixing the clock... I had discussed clock repairs with Kevin (Birch) about 5 years ago but had been somewhat intimidated by the prospect of dismantling it, however, a...

Re: 116/3328 VYA engine rebuild
Mark, it looks stunning, hope the Swiss vignettes have survived on the screen, can't tell from the piccies. Looking forward to see it on the circuit this year and have missed you and Elaine over the past few years, always enjoyed your company. Hi Kevin Thanks - we are very pleased with it! Vignette...

Re: 116/3328 VYA engine rebuild
Hi Grant
Thanks! New seat cushions - the old ones were too far gone to be repaired, the rest of the leather has been re-connolised plus a new wood switch panel! I was amazed how much difference it has made!
As you say, well-done Graham and John!

Re: 116/3328 VYA engine rebuild
Hi Karan I have to admit I'm not doing it: Graham and John at Culverland Classics http://www.culverlandclassics.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; have done all the work. All the glass and chrome as been taken out as part of the appeal of Culverland is that they seem to be...

Re: 116/3328 VYA engine rebuild
Picture quality not great (should have used flash) but new front and rear valences have been fitted, rear wheel arches repaired and most of the the front wings have been done (a bit to do on the offside where wing and valence meet and a chunk of one wheel arch on the near side), so just inner arches...

Hi Grant
No problem! The guys at Culverland also seemed to be taking the rust / gaps in their stride so fingers crossed it will get sorted!

Re: Turin and Back 2016
We did 1926 miles (home, Turin, home) and used about 455 litres (101 gallons) so about 19.1mpg.No real fuel problems, except the consumption, I personally used 115 gallons, which has worked out at about 17 MPG, with nice light grey exhaust pipes
