Re: Is there Facel Vega people on JOC forum?

Justin Banks, a UK based classic car dealer, is a Facel Vega enthusiast: "I always have 5 or 6 in my private collection in addition to any models I am currently advertising for sale, so it is always worth a call if you are looking for anything in particular....Simply by buying and selling more ...

Re: KOP HILL CLIMB - applications for space on JOC stand

Chris, thanks for organising this. I will plan to come to Kop Hill again this year, this time with a Jensen :). I can do either/both days but probably the Saturday if only one. If there is another member who wants to take the other day that will be OK with me. My C-V8 restoration should be complete ...

Could the moderators also correct Vo x on to Voxson, as Bruno noted, so that those searching in future can find it correctly?

Re: Topic Interceptor

I have just been told by someone via his son that Mike Jones died following a short illness in 2008. To paraphrase a saying from elsewhere: "Rumours of his death are greatly exaggerated". I have been corresponding with Mike in the last few weeks and can assure everyone that at the date of...

Re: North Coast 500

Thanks for the suggestion and planning Kevin. I’d be interested in one or both of the North Coast or Irish routes for next year. I agree with Kevin, the diary is full of other events till late September – first week in Oct would definitely be good for me for the N Coast, but I am flexible.

Re: 541 for sale needs restoration

For the record: for sale by Andrew Cassar, asking £15K $_57.JPG $_57 (1).JPG “There are parts missing which are available or could be manufactured”. Hard to think of a case when that might not be strictly true, but does not make it easy! I’m reminded of an article in one of the classic car mags wher...

Re: EPIC EXCEL!

Anyone else feel there were an awful lot of Mercedes 190SL convertibles (1955-63) at the show? There were at least a dozen dotted around the various dealers, all done up to the nines; it seemed like you couldn’t turn a corner without bumping into one. Looks like the thinking is that this is the next...

I don't see any Jensens listed on their site. Do you have a link for the 541 and the C-V8? Are they similarly ambitious prices?
