Mk1 boot trim around the hatch springs.

Getting to the end of my restoration and find I need the above trim parts.
I have the large pieces that cover the swept corners but need the bits that go around the springs for the hatch.

Any assistance greatly received, even a tatty one that I can use as a pattern.

Regards

Mike

Re: Restoration of 115/ 3213

I've been quiet for quite a while as not had much to add but finally it's all starting to come together. Here's a link to a bit of video showing the engines second run. The first run was a cloud of preservation greases and a small oil leak and not much to see. This time it's clear. Running to temper...

Re: 115/3185 for auction Saturday 6 July 2019

It didn't sell at the auction, didn't reach it's reserve. It then was on ebay and was at around £15k and was removed as the car is no longer available.

Hi

Yes, they would have been ground to size at the manufacturers.

Re: Re chroming

Ja5ion

The local ( to us) Jensen supplier uses Hampshire Electroplating ltd, 61-75 Empress Rd, Southampton SO14 0JW for their chroming needs.

As always turn around time is about 2-3 months.

The body is with Roman at Carsecondlife and he has repaired the hatch so far. Will upload photos soon. All the o...

Re: Engine heat evacuation syste

Has anybody tried fitting the Chrysler cooling fan to the water pump ?

I haven't looked at clearances but in principle, as long as the engine is running then air is being passed over the engine and exiting under the vehicle.

Re: Int Mk1 2913

The guy selling this also had an FF in bits. Talked about in another topic on here. That was bought by Jensen International. This one has quite a few bits missing and the bodywork is far from perfect and will need a fair bit of work. That said, the bodywork horrors that normally plague the Jensen ar...
