Correct, did some research, this is a recently completed recreation by Petersen Engineering based locally here in Devon.

Jensen/BMW alive and well two years ago in the Isle of Man, was owned then by John Rhys Davies the actor, part of a collection of classic cars that he keeps on the Island.
Apparently bought it because it's a bit different.

Re: sheds and workshops

Unfortunately I can't get my Jensen through the door to my front room, and if I could there's no room!!!
Have been thinking of a darker carpet, but a Honda does not leak oil. :D

Not sure if would help but John Westcott & Co were coal merchants based in Plymouth. not sure of the history but were around post war until various mergers in the 1970's.

Re: My Early Mk3 Interceptor Restoration project

Hi John,

Glad you are making progress, looking forward to seeing the car on the road in the near future.

Must meet up soon, I'm crossing the border into 'Pastyland' tomorrow to collect my car after the Camborne wizards have worked their magic on it.
So back on the road again!

As already stated, the 'Gold' inter reached £18,500 on the Saturday.
Was labelled as unsold on the Sunday and still available for purchase with a price guide of £19,950.

Devon based Mk111 update

Took advantage of the nice weather last weekend and took the car for what might be the last run of the year. :D Not been on any long trips, but have sorted the fuel starvation problems that have dogged me since the spring weekend, ie clogged fuel filter on the pickup in the tank, filter now removed,...

Well done the two Johns, a very enjoyable weekend despite the weather.

Good company and lots of Jensen talk, and nice to meet a few more owners.
